Message From the Head

Welcome to the Continental Language School. I would like to introduce myself to our new parents and students; my name is Ms. Marwa Elmeligy, the headmistress of the Continental Language School. I strongly believe that every child can learn and achieve the highest level of academic ability with the proper preparation and support; this is what is taken into consideration when all our planning and work preparation is done. Furthermore, the staff at the Continental Language School is dedicated to building a safe, compassionate community of lifelong learners who are inspired to become respectful, responsible, cooperative, innovative, independent thinkers and problem solvers. 

Parents play a key role in the academic success of their children. We firmly believe the best way to enforce this success is for both school and parents to communicate regularly and effectively. We look forward to working with you to guarantee that our goal is achieved for a successful school year.

All parents should have received a copy of the student/parent handbook, please read it carefully as it will answer most of your questions. Parents, who did not receive their copy may download an electronic version from our homepage.

Additionally, listed below is a list of some key points to remember:

  • If you bring your child to school in the morning, please ensure you are on time. Lessons start at 8:00 am sharp.

  • Homework is given on daily basis except on Tuesdays when Extra Curricular Activities takes place. Please ensure your child completes the homework on time and that care is given to presentation, handwriting and spelling.

  • Designate a time for reading and practicing basic math facts with your child on a daily basis.

Please be assured that all your queries will be dealt with as soon as I receive your e-mails and that I will get back to you the following day at the latest through, your child's link book or phone call.
