Applications are considered in order of receipt. Priority is given to children with a good level of English, with brothers or sisters already studying at the Continental School of Cairo and to ex-pupils of the CSC.
In October of the year that children are 2.6 years, they can join the preschool class. In order to do so, parents must complete the school's application form which is obtained directly from the admission office and submit it with the required documentation. An appointment will then be made for the parents to visit the school and for their child to be assessed. Subject to satisfactory evaluation, a place will be offered.
In October of the year that children are 3.6 years, they can join the Early Year’s department. Both the British and National schools are available for enrollment. In order to do so, parents must complete the school's application form which is obtained directly from the admission office and submit it with the required documentation. An appointment will then be made for parents to visit the school and for their child to take an Early Year’s entry assessment. Subject to satisfactory evaluation, a place will be offered.
To meet the constant increase in demand for places, a substantial building expansion programme was completed recently. We are very proud of our modern campus and the very stimulating and inspiring learning environment we provide throughout the school. Our students enjoy first class sporting facilities and make full use of the state of the art Computer facilities, Science laboratories, Libraries, Music and Art & Craft rooms.
Children applying for preschool and early years are not required to have prior knowledge of English but preference will always be given to those who do.
Pupils applying for places in Year 1 should have some knowledge of English and Math.
Pupils applying for places in Year 2 must have prior knowledge of English. At this age they will be expected to know how to read and write.
