Applications are considered in order of receipt. Priority is given to children with a good level of English, with brothers or sisters already studying at the Continental School of Cairo and to ex-pupils of the CSC.
In October of the year that children are 3.6 years, they can join the Early Year’s department. Both the British and National schools are available for enrollment. In order to do so, parents must complete the school's application form which is obtained directly from the admission office and submit it with the required documentation. An appointment will then be made for parents to visit the school and for their child to take an Early Year’s entry assessment. Subject to satisfactory evaluation, a place will be offered.
Children applying for KG1 & Foundation Stage are not required to have prior knowledge of English but preference will always be given to those who do.
Pupils should have a good command of spoken and written English. Previous school reports indicating passing grades are required in addition to passing the school entry assessment in English, Maths and Arabic. Students who have transferred from a school abroad do not have to sit for the Arabic assessment.
