For children in Lower school or EYFS, parents are able to pre-order meals through the school app

Restaurant

The school restaurant offers a home-cooked style meal on a daily basis for all students in CSC. This option is also available for students in Lower School and EYFS as well as Primary 1 & 2 if they wish to sign up.

Houses

Our school's House Point system is a way to encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and academic achievement across all year groups. Each student is assigned to one of four houses, and they can earn points through a variety of activities, such as demonstrating excellent behavior, completing assignments, participating in extracurricular activities, and showing kindness or leadership. These points are collected throughout the year, and the house with the most points at the end of the term or year wins a special reward or trophy.

This system is beneficial because it fosters a sense of community and healthy competition, motivating students to strive for excellence both in and out of the classroom. It also helps students develop important values like responsibility, collaboration, and respect for others, while creating an inclusive environment where all students feel recognized and supported for their efforts. The House Point system encourages a balanced approach to personal and academic growth, contributing to a positive and engaging school culture.

Trips

School trips are an integral part of our educational approach, providing students with opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom. The purpose of these trips is to enhance students’ understanding of subjects by immersing them in real-world experiences, whether through visits to museums, historical sites, nature reserves, or cultural institutions. These experiences allow students to make connections between theoretical knowledge and practical application, deepening their understanding of key concepts. We also like to take students on fun trips to encourage bonding between peers and to deepen their connections with their teachers and school.

The benefits of school trips are numerous. They promote active learning, encourage curiosity, and help students develop a broader perspective by exposing them to new environments and ideas. Trips also foster social skills as students collaborate and interact outside of the classroom setting, strengthening teamwork and communication. By providing these enriching experiences, school trips play a crucial role in making learning engaging, memorable, and relevant.

E.C.A

Our extracurricular activities (ECA) program offers students a chance to explore new and emerging interests, as well as reinforce their current passions, with sessions taking place once a week after school. With a wide variety of clubs available, students can choose from clubs such as poetry, ceramics, sculpture, music, acting and drama, dance and movement, science, STEAM, robotics and a range of sports. These clubs provide valuable opportunities for personal growth, improving skills such as teamwork, time management, and self-confidence. They also help students develop a well-rounded character, fostering a balanced approach to learning and life outside the classroom.
